Step into Whinfield, the small but perfectly formed Art Gallery, Artist’s Studio and garden, now a part of the thriving Salcombe art scene.

Whinfield Gallery is a 12 minute walk up the hill from the heart of Salcombe - located in the leafy residential area of Herbert Road, with gardens and views across to the hills of East Portlemouth on the far side of the estuary.

The gallery hosts several group exhibitions throughout the year featuring invited established and new artists from the wider Devon artists community.

There is also a permanent collection of work from the gallery owner, Salcombe artist Steve Kenna, who works out of the Whinfield studio space where you can see his ongoing work - the doors are open to all. Steve is a key member of the Salcombe artists community and Academician of the South West Academy of Fine & Applied Arts (SWAc) and an associate of the Society of Graphic Fine Art (SGFA).
